Feedback Friday 🌟

We recently received some wonderful feedback from one of our Edinburgh North Care Assistants about her colleague, Flinn.

Having worked alongside Flinn for the past couple of years, she wanted to recognise the compassion, patience and positivity he brings to his role every day. From starting with no previous care experience to becoming a trusted and valued member of the team, Flinn has made a real impact on the people he supports.

What stood out most was the joy he brings to his visits. During a recent shift, his sense of humour and upbeat personality had everyone laughing and smiling, creating moments that brightened the day for both the people we support and their families.

The feedback described Flinn as a "good egg" and a "tip-top carer" – praise that couldn't be more deserved.

Thank you, Flinn, for your hard work, dedication and for bringing so much warmth, laughter and kindness to those around you. We're proud to have you as part of the Edinburgh North team. πŸ’œπŸ‘

The feedback highlighted the trust and reassurance Mary brings, allowing family members to step away with confidence, knowing their loved one is in caring and capable hands.

Training Spotlight βπŸŽπŸ“š

We'd like to take a moment to highlight our fabulous new Lanarkshire Trainer, Lauren, who has received feedback from the team that she is "flying"!

Congratulations Lauren, and thank you for the enthusiasm, knowledge and support you've already brought to the role. The positive feedback from the team speaks for itself.

It's great to see our new starters building their confidence in training (with a little help from Tina, our "service user" 😊), and we're excited to see you continue to thrive in your new role. πŸ‘

Celebrating Our Edinburgh North Team ⭐✨

We're delighted to share some fantastic feedback received for our Edinburgh North Care Assistants.

A special well done to Agata and Ola, who were praised by a service user's family and healthcare professionals for the exceptional support they have provided during a particularly challenging time. Their compassionate care, professionalism and attention to detail have made a real difference. Agata also received high praise from an Occupational Therapist for her confident and effective use of new equipment, passing her demonstration with "flying colours." 🌈

Ozioma received lovely feedback from a service user's daughter, who highlighted her patience, kindness and willingness to help over the weekend. Her support was greatly appreciated.

And a huge thank you to Abbie, who went above and beyond when a service user's wallet was accidentally thrown away. Thanks to her quick thinking and determination, it was safely recovered with everything intact, much to the relief of our service user and their family!

Thank you all for your dedication, compassion and commitment to delivering outstanding care every day. We are so proud to have you as part of the team. πŸ’œ

Goodbye and good luck, Christopher! πŸ‘‹

Our West of Scotland service user, Christopher, has left us after 16 years. He is embarking on an exciting new chapter as he moves into his own home.

Both our care and office teams will miss him, especially his visits to the office to play the accordion and treat us to a little sing-song!

Good luck in your new home, Christopher. We wish you every happiness for the future – and please don't be a stranger! πŸ’œ
