“Combining excellent presence and confidence the skilled combination of alternative, hard-to-heavy rocking tunes, melodic riffs, and grungy vocal flares quickly gave the impression of a band with a strong future ahead.” - Metal Mole Reviews
“With a forest fire of oomph, showmanship, and presence the 4-piece quickly carved their niche through an eager yet well-crafted song list.” Metal Mole Reviews
“Blackfyre Rising kicking off proceedings with a very energetic and solid set from the Edinburgh based quartet. Each song is expertly delivered and these guys really know how to wring every last note from their instruments whilst jumping about, crossing the stage to the delight of the early birds in front of them.” Jace Media

Hi everyone, sorry for being so quiet these days. As some of you are aware we had a pretty bad hack on our Instagram account which has been a real pain to sort. Hopefully that's the page back to normal now, but unfortunately there's bit of sad news.
Dave and Magnus have both made the decision to step away from Blackfyre Rising. This is a very bitter pill to swallow, we've shared a lot together and it's been a joy sharing the stage with these guys. There's no bad feelings towards the guys, this is just what can happen unfortunately.
As you can imagine this means that the future of the band is very uncertain, with it just being myself left. The decision to carry on and try to reform the band, or maybe move on is not an easy one to make. Of course I will keep you all updated with what is going on and what will happen next.
Just wanted to keep you all in the loop with what's going on.
Hopefully see you all soon.
Tom
