Working with clients to come up with cost-effective design solutions and creating a space where they can develop and enjoy for years to come.

❓ Why did you choose to be a founding member of this specific BNI core team?

Being a founding member is allowing me to have an input on shaping the group and taking it in a direction that will be an asset to my business, and those other businesses around me.

❓ What does 'Givers Gain' mean to you in your daily business life?

This philosophy makes me think of the needs of our clients in a wider context. No longer am I limited to just providing landscaping services, I have an arsenal of many trades and businesses from different sectors, and I can introduce my clients to those people.

Craig offers a full range of services including hard & soft landscaping, water features, stonework, timber construction, garden clearance and maintenance - whether residential or commercial.

I absolutely love taking the stress out of planning a holiday. Most people come to me feeling a bit overwhelmed by all the options online and worried about getting it wrong. I really enjoy listening to what they want, sifting through the noise, and coming back with a simple, clear plan that feels ‘just right’ for them. Seeing that moment when it all clicks into place and they feel excited instead of stressed is my favourite part of the job.”

I chose to be a founding member of this BNI core team because I can see the potential we have to build something really strong from the ground up. My business is built on trusted relationships and referrals, and BNI gives me a structured way to develop exactly that: a group of professionals who genuinely understand each other’s services and are confident to recommend one another.
As a Travel Counsellor, most of my clients come to me because someone they trust has said ‘you need to speak to Ashley’. Being part of the founding core team means I can help shape the culture of this chapter so that it is supportive, professional and focused on quality, not just quantity. I want to surround myself with like‑minded people who care about looking after their clients as much as I do, so that when I refer someone, I know they will be in safe hands.
Ultimately, I joined this specific core team because I believe the people in the room, the energy and the local community fit my values and my business. I am excited to grow alongside everyone here and to build a chapter that becomes the go‑to network in our area for reliable, relationship‑driven referrals.

✅ What does 'Givers Gain' mean to you in your daily business life?

Givers Gain’ for me is about showing up each day asking, ‘How can I help someone else today?’ rather than ‘What can I get?’
In practice, that looks like sharing travel tips even if there’s no booking yet, connecting my clients with trusted people in my network, and going the extra mile to look after others. When I focus on giving first, I build trust and stronger relationships, and over time that naturally comes back as referrals and loyal clients. So it is really just my way of doing business: be helpful, be generous, and the rest follows.

❓What is the No. 1 professional challenge you love solving for your clients?

There are many challenges we face as an electrical contractor. The main one that we take satisfaction from would be finding the most suitable solution that meets the customers requirements, with the least amount of disruption. Although finding an electrical fault for a customer can be very rewarding.

❓Why did you choose to be a founding member of this specific BNI core team?

I felt extremely welcome from the first meeting I attended. The ideas and concepts of BNI are something that resonated with me and my business and I could see the benefits of joining from the outset. What sets this networking group apart from others I have been a part of, is the commitment to helping each other grow not only our businesses but also this chapter.

❓What does 'Givers Gain' mean to you in your daily business life?

Iv always been a believer in givers gain. To me personally it’s a proven concept. Iv always been more than happy to help friends or other businesses, and see them grow. We are all in the same boat. Doing this helps build trust with other businesses and that support eventually returns to your company. What goes around comes around. I genuinely believe what you put out, you will get back in return.
