Are you making these common mistakes?
If you always recall your dog from the stay, they start anticipating it; leaning forward, creeping, ready to run before you've even said the word. A stay should end the same way it started: in position.
And it only holds up in real life if you train it that way too!

Rascal's playing ping pong! Every time he comes back to me, he gets to chase and eat a piece of food. Coming back is where the fun starts, so he learns it's always worth it 🐾
