28kg ! Two persons! I am halfway through tiling the bathroom and wetroom and thinking these tiles are hard work on my own! Then, I noticed one of the boxes after carrying them up and down the stairs all day in boxes of two ! That each one is 28kg heavy!
1200x 600mm, too .
This will look like a work of art when I am finished with it.
Plastering on the internal area skimmed up ready for 2nd fix joinery and kitchen next week.
Also, the brickwork will be finished tomorrow, too.
Bathroom boarding and insulation done today , ready for ceiling to be skimmed and chasers floated out ready for areas to be tanked.
Kitchen porch renovation, being closed up now , one more day doing prep, and that can be skimmed.

Everything is all under control and going well .
Another day doing roof work while lads are away , getting the rest of the common rafters in then got the hips in with the king stud and the hip jack rafters all done.
All ready to cut back the ends to make the framework for soffits and fascias.
Next up, remove the slates and old batterns , install the valley jack rafters, and all can be felted and battened .
Working the weekend ,with my family, and building the dream .
Garden cleared by the better half and eldest son and little man Lincoln ready to rip it apart!
I got the wallplates on with help from lennon, and then we got the roof works started . Hardwork without the scaffolding being altered yet , just awaiting for that to be done , but you always find a way to work around it when you only get limited time and moments to work on your own projects .
Loads of maths today and reusing the original timbers I took off the ground floor roof to save on getting rid of great timber ! Just that it is hard to work with as a lot of twist and turns in some of them !

Started the weekend with my cement mixer, taking the knock in the van as the cable split in two and won't start again ! So I had to do hand mixers to keep me going . How many I done i have lost count !
