★ Opening Procession (11:00–11:30am)
Kick off the day with a high-energy parade of music, dance, and costume led by youth collective . Catch them again with further performances at 1:15pm and 2:45pm.

★ Theatre presents The Mad Hatter's Tea Party
Enjoy playful promenade-style performances popping up along George Street throughout the day, with shows at 12:00pm, 1:45pm, 3:30pm, and 5:00pm.

Emerge East returns to for its 4th year on Saturday 6th September!

This uplifting, FREE family festival celebrates community, local talent, creativity and nature in one of ’s newest neighbourhoods.

This year, Emerge East takes over with a jam-packed programme featuring the return of the Wild Riverside Sauna, flavours from ’s Home Cooks, hands-on creative workshops, an interactive art installation by , ’s Sandscape, an independent local Makers’ Market, and guided walks exploring riverside ecology and family workshops inspired by nature.

Plus, the brand new Block Party Stage, setting the soundtrack for the day, with an epic lineup of local talent and DJs - carefully curated in collaboration with .
