Elio Ruscetta is a fine-art photographer that loves capturing fascinating images of the habitual and common life. He still using his own dark room to print his images and enjoying very much the old fashion way of the magic of Photography. He loves to put attention in mundane and ordinary objects of the daily life that mostly of the time they can get so easily unnoticed. After several years working in the kitchen as a professional chef Elio decided to combine his passion for culinary with his love for photography working as food/beverage and still life photographer. His experience as ex professional chef enables his attention to detail and is creativity in order to photograph food with simplicity and elegance. Elio is not just a food Photographer but is a guide and takes his clients in to a new exciting culinary journey.

Sometime ago I was asked to create an image for an Italian film festival in Bucarest but unfortunately it never made it to the end…the concept was quite minimalistic and I really enjoyed creating this image from scratch.

The future of travel visual design is here. 🛸 Experimenting with compositing real studio product photography into multi-layered AI-generated scenes. The goal was matching the lighting and reflections on the Victorinox carry-on to make the synthetic background feel completely real.

This film started as still images.
Every frame was created using AI, then carefully animated into motion.
From cockpit instruments to runway takeoff, each scene was built piece by piece and then edited and structured in Premiere Pro to shape the final narrative.
For me, this isn’t about replacing craft — it’s about expanding it.
AI is a technology that is here to stay, and I’m exploring how it can become part of my visual language. A new tool to experiment with storytelling, rhythm, atmosphere and cinematic tension.
The future of image-making is evolving.
I’m choosing to experiment with it rather than ignore it.

With the rapid advancements in AI technology, I’ve been exploring how it can intersect with traditional storytelling. By integrating AI with tangible, real-world aesthetics, I’m able to push my artistic boundaries while experimenting with innovative and potentially cost-efficient production methods.
The featured timepiece is a diver’s watch, so I designed an image that visually conveys that story.

The weight of thoughts
Kicking the new year with one more image from the conceptual still-life project exploration of mental health, created specifically for . The challenge was translating complex, invisible psychological states into clear, commercially readable visuals without relying on faces or clichés.
Using paper cuts, sculptural forms, figurines, wool, and bold colour palettes, each image was meticulously built by hand, photographed, and lit to balance symbolism with visual clarity. The creative process focused on simplifying mental health narratives into universal metaphors—fragility, overload, imbalance, isolation, and healing—while maintaining strong graphic impact suitable for editorial and commercial use.
The result is a series of minimal yet expressive images designed to communicate emotional depth through materiality, colour, and form.
