This year-long opportunity is designed for someone looking to build a career in theatre producing or general management. Working closely with the Theatre Department, you'll gain hands-on experience supporting productions in development and performance, from rehearsals and auditions to events, administration and day-to-day theatre operations.

In 1998, Arnold Crook founded Masterclass at the Theatre Royal Haymarket, creating opportunities for tens of thousands of young people from all backgrounds to explore careers in theatre through masterclasses with leading on- and offstage professionals.

In 2003, he went on to launch TheatreCraft, now the UK’s largest off-stage theatre careers fair.

Masterclass and Sonia Friedman Productions are offering a paid, short-term Directing Internship on Harry Potter and the Cursed Child 🎭 This is an exceptional development opportunity for someone looking to gain the experience needed to become a Resident or Associate Director on a large-scale production. You’ll work closely with the Associate and Resident Directors across recast, technical and understudy rehearsals — gaining insight into how a production of this scale balances integrating new company members while maintaining performance quality.
