Project Highlight: Thames & Hudson

Thames & Hudson's 2,200 sq ft London workspace combines a light, airy aesthetic keeping the character and heritage of the brand. Neutral finishes, natural light and biophilia create a calm backdrop, while pops of colour and thousands of books bring personality and inspiration to the space.

Designed with flexibility at its core, the workplace brings together neighbourhoods, collaborative spaces, meeting areas and focused workstations; encouraging connection without compromising on privacy.

We were pleased to partner with Collaborate Furniture to provide a range of Spacestor solutions, including:

Forte Storage – made to measure to work seamlessly with the existing architecture, while creating natural divisions between team neighbourhoods.
Mediastor – combining storage and display to showcase Thames & Hudson’s publications, while supporting collaboration and virtual connection with their global teams.

Modern, minimal and flexible, the project keeps the company’s rich publishing heritage firmly at its heart.

Project Highlight | Gleeds, Southampton

For Gleeds’ Southampton team, the refurbishment of Vanbrugh House was an opportunity to create more than just a refreshed office. Working with Noviun Architects and Showcase PSR, the project was designed to support different working styles, neuroinclusion, collaboration and wellbeing; all within a calm, sophisticated environment.

We were delighted to contribute our Railway Carriage and HotLocker system.

The Railway Carriage creates an open yet zoned destination for focused work, informal meetings and moments of respite. Its backless configuration and dual-sided access allow it to connect different areas of the workplace, offering privacy without feeling enclosed. Alongside it, the HotLocker bank incorporates an integrated digital display, combining practical storage with a natural breakout and meeting point.

Two modular elements brought together as one cohesive architectural feature - carefully coordinated through finishes, proportions and detailing to feel less like individual products and more like an integral part of the space.

And with the project recently recognised as a finalist in the SBID Awards, it’s a great example of how thoughtful furniture integration can help create workplaces that are flexible, inclusive and built around people.

Project Highlight: Walgreens, Old Chicago Post Office

What do you get when you combine a landmark Chicago building, thoughtful workplace design and a strong sense of place?

Walgreens’ workspace within the historic Old Chicago Post Office brought hundreds of employees together across e-commerce, pharmacy, creative, technology and digital teams.

Working with Stantec, the design took inspiration from city planning, with communal spaces creating a central ‘city centre’, surrounded by neighbourhoods of workstations and amenities. Huddle rooms, breakout areas and meeting spaces completed the layout, creating a workplace designed for different ways of working.

Chicago’s identity was woven throughout, from wall graphics and artwork to neighbourhood names inspired by areas including Pilsen and Bronzeville.

At the heart of the space, our Palisades Grid helped bring the story to life — displaying Walgreens artefacts alongside natural biophilia, with integrated technology adding another layer of functionality.

A great example of how workplace design connected people, place and brand, while giving new life to a remarkable piece of Chicago history.

🔊 Is your workplace too loud to think?
