Before the noise, there was the signal. The name came from silence — a telegram never sent. A pulse in the dark. A bass line waiting to be heard. Telegram S4M is more than a name — it’s a legacy on loop. Born in the quiet shadow of a working-class home — his father wired houses with electricity and grit. S4M grew up where the light ended and silence began. His father built circuits. Now S4M builds basslines —
each one pulsing with raw voltage. Legacy flows through the signal. Telegram: delivered. Bass became his voice. Songs became his messages. Telegram S4M is the sonic alter ego of Sam —
bass guitarist first, songwriter second, singer by necessity. After a decade of touring across Europe, the UK, and Australia — bass slung low, grooves running deep — he steps into the spotlight with a project that fuses indie rock grit with the sleek pulse of the new electronic wave. Produced by Gareth Young (Kasabian’s Tom Meighan, The XX, Sugababes), Telegram S4M’s sound is built on:
