I was parked on the road the other day when a sign caught my eye: Intouch Fire & Security Ltd. I noticed something immediately; the sign was just text. No icon, no symbol, no visual "spark" to represent what they do. As a designer, my brain started ticking. A brand called "Intouch" that handles something as vital as Fire and Security deserves a visual identity that speaks to the customer.

(Swipe through the images below to see the full design journey from rough sketches to the final 2026 concept)

I started breaking down the brand into three core pillars:
Touch: Connectivity, human interaction, and biometrics.
Fire: Protection, heat detection, and safety.
Security: Vigilance, the "eye" of the camera, and digital signals.

My goal was to merge these without the logo feeling cluttered. I wanted to create a symbol that felt both high-tech and personal.

I began with rough sketches, playing with the idea of a finger approaching a camera lens (literally "in touch"). From there, I moved into digital exploration, testing how "signal bars" could represent the monitoring side of the business.

One of my favorite breakthroughs was the "Fingerprint Flame"; merging the biometric lines of a thumbprint with the organic shape of a flicker. It perfectly captures the "Intouch" name while representing fire safety.

I ended up with a sheet of 15 concepts, ranging from literal interpretations to abstract geometric shapes. Each one explores a different balance of the three pillars.

To make the logo practical for a real-world security firm, I moved toward a bolder, thicker line weight. This ensures the fingerprint ridges stay clear and recognizable, whether they are on a business card or a technician's uniform.

For the typography, I chose Helvetica to provide a sense of authority and clarity. I used a bold weight for "INTOUCH" to keep the brand name the focus, while thinning and widening "FIRE & SECURITY LTD" to create a stable, professional base.

In the world of professional sports branding, there is a constant push toward extreme simplification; clean lines, flat colors, and "safe" vector shapes.
While this works for tiny app icons, it often loses the soul of the character.
I chose to redesign the Las Vegas Aviatorsโ€™ secondary logo because the original feels a bit "cheap and fast."

As a designer, Iโ€™m drawn to the details that make a logo feel "real." For this project, I gave the "Fighter Pilot" a complete overhaul to bring my vision to the screen, creating a concept with illustrative depth and a more aggressive atmosphere for this Triple-A identity.

I also experimented with integrating the teamโ€™s primary "A" identity. I wanted to see if the helmet worked better as a standalone icon or if it needed that structural anchor. By layering the pilot over a bold, sharp "A," I aimed to bridge the gap between a modern sports mark and a high-detail illustration.

Ultimately, this project was just for fun; a creative exercise to explore my own thoughts on how this identity could truly look. These concepts are not finalized or completed; they are simply my personal take on bringing a premium, high-detail finish to a team I find visually fascinating.
