I just had too 🤣
I love to sing. Purely for the joy of singing. It's a stim for me and helps me regulate.
However, years of shame and humiliation meant that I NEVER sing in front of anyone. It's too vulnerable and too much risk of being hit hard by RSD (Rejection Sensitive Dysphoria).
I knocked that wall down with a sledge hammer last night.
This is the year of Authentically AuDHD. Which for me means no longer hiding in the shadows, being true to me and what I've set out to do.
I felt the fear and did it anyway. I'm so grateful for the support from Brilliantly Different and a special shout to Holly for holding my phone whilst I shook uncontrollably 💜✨
