I have spent more than 20 years around high performance athletes, and one thing has become clearer and clearer, when pressure rises, the player’s internal state matters enormously.
Confidence. Trust. Emotional control. Energy. Attention. The ability to recover after a poor performance and come back fully into the next moment.
That is why I created The Winning Performance System ⛳
It brings together the areas I work with most deeply, hypnotherapy, meditation, Qigong, psychology and performance coaching, into one structured approach that helps athletes develop from the inside out.
This is not about forcing positive thoughts or simply working harder.
It is about becoming calmer, more aware, more resilient and more able to access the win that is already within you when it matters most.

Autumn is a natural time to slow down, clear out and make space for what comes next 🍂
On Sunday 27th September, I’ll be running a Metal Element Qigong Workshop focused on clarity, release and fresh energy.
Through gentle movement, conscious breathing and seasonal practice, we’ll work with the energy of autumn to let go of what no longer serves and create a greater sense of balance and lightness.
Sunday 27th September 2026
10:30am to 1:30pm
ÂŁ50 per person
If this sounds like something you need at this point in the year, I’d love to welcome you along.

On the surface, golf coaching, hypnotherapy and Qigong can look like completely different worlds.
For me, the connection is simple. They all come back to helping people understand and manage their mind, body and energy more effectively.
Whether I am supporting a professional golfer under pressure, helping someone shift an unhelpful pattern through hypnotherapy, or guiding a Qigong class, the aim is similar, to create more calm, awareness, balance and trust from within.
Different practices, one underlying philosophy ✨
Quitting smoking or va**ng is rarely just about willpower.
Often, the habit is tied to routines, emotions, stress and subconscious patterns that have built up over time.
In my 2 hour Stop Smoking Hypnotherapy Session, I work with those deeper patterns to help you create a different response and move towards change with more clarity and confidence.
The session is personalised to your own habits and triggers, and can take place in Peebles or online.
If you feel ready to make that change, this could be a really positive place to begin.

Feedback like this means a great deal to me 🤍
Qigong is a practice that unfolds gradually, so it is always lovely to hear how someone’s experience deepens from one block to the next.
Thank you, Gulmira, for your commitment, your openness and for sharing such thoughtful words. I am so pleased the classes have helped you feel calmer, more connected and more aware within yourself.

Being grounded is not about having a perfect day or never feeling stressed. It is about having a place within yourself that you can return to, even when life feels busy or challenging.
It is the feeling of being present, connected and steady.
Your mind feels clearer, your body feels more relaxed and your energy feels balanced.
Practices like Qigong, meditation and breathwork can help create that sense of connection, allowing you to slow down, settle the nervous system and reconnect with yourself.
In a world that constantly asks us to rush, taking time to come back to centre is a powerful practice.

As the season starts to wind down, it is natural for motivation and energy levels to fluctuate. The long days of practice, competition and travel can begin to take their toll.
This is often the point where mindset becomes even more important.
Staying focused is not about forcing yourself to push harder, it is about reconnecting with your purpose, managing your energy and keeping your routines steady.
Small habits, a clear mind and a calm approach can make the difference between fading out and finishing the season with confidence.
The final part of the season is still an opportunity to learn, grow and perform at your best 🌱

Relaxation is not laziness.
It is recovery.
In a world that often celebrates constant activity, taking time to slow down can feel difficult. But the nervous system needs moments of rest to reset, recharge and return to balance.
When we allow ourselves to truly relax, we create space for better focus, clearer thinking and more thoughtful decisions.
Whether it is through meditation, breathwork, Qigong or simply taking a quiet moment for yourself, relaxation is an important part of performing and living well. 🌙
Rest is not something you earn after exhaustion. It is something that helps prevent it.
Qigong is a practice that has been used for thousands of years to support harmony between the body, mind and energy.
In this video, learn how Qigong can be used as a supportive practice for overall wellbeing, including how gentle movement, breathwork and mindful awareness can help us feel more balanced and connected within ourselves.
The body has an incredible ability to respond when we create space for calm, flow and balance. 🌿
