Here to remind you of your uniqueness, light and bravery. Supporting individuals with Anxiety, Trauma & Addiction. Much love, Lynn,x

NADA Acupuncturist, Somatic Trauma-Informed Coach & Therapist, Akashic Records Guide, Bioresonance Scans & Detox Protocols I am a crazy South African living in bonny Scotland with my hubby, two beautiful children, our foster Frenchie, and two guineas, Roro and Middy. I love people, ideas, playing and babies, (and chocolate cake.) Before my deeply transformational awakening in 2017, I was a journal

I often hear people say, "I'd love to help people, but I don't feel qualified enough."

The truth is, confidence rarely comes before action.

Most of us learn by doing.
By practising, making mistakes and having support around us while we grow.

That's exactly why our Somatic Trauma-Informed NADA Acupuncture Training includes ongoing mentoring, coaching and practitioner support.

Because learning the NADA protocol is only one part of the journey.

The real magic happens when you begin using it with real people and start seeing the impact for yourself.

Watching someone's shoulders drop.
Watching someone finally sit in stillness.
Watching someone tell you they slept through the night for the first time in months.

Those moments never get old.

If you're a coach, therapist, recovery worker, holistic practitioner or someone who wants practical tools to support nervous system regulation, this training could be the next step.

Next training is on 21-23 August in Glasgow. Looking forward to seeing you then!

Please help us to welcome Tanya Duncan as our new Relationship Manager for Pathfinder CIC.

We are so incredibly blessed to have someone of her calibre choosing to work with us.

There is nothing and no one Tanya does not know about or in the third sector, and most importantly, she knows how to create safety for our clients.

Here are some interesting things to help us get to know her better:

Q. Share a standout moment in one of your past roles?
"Seeing how quickly people can change once they feel a bit of hope and relief. It’s amazing how even small moments of support can help someone reconnect with their own strength. I never tire of seeing it."

Q. What is the secret sauce to building a strong, lasting connection?
"Being genuinely interested in what someone wants to share. When people feel properly listened to, without judgment, something shifts. Honesty, respect, and loving kindness are at the heart of it for me. When you show up with those qualities, trust grows naturally.”

Q. What is the most rewarding part of managing relationships for you?
"Connecting with others and learning new things. I love those moments where trust builds naturally, and people feel safe enough to be themselves. At Pathfinder, I’m excited to get stuck into everything, forming new connections, meeting new people, and offering NADA therapy to help bring a bit of calm and relief into people’s lives.”

Q. What would you tell your younger self?
"I’d tell myself that you’re in for adventures and events you’ll never see coming, but don’t doubt your values or your integrity. If you hold onto those, you’ll always end up where you’re meant to be, when you’re meant to be there.”

Q. What brought you to Pathfinder CIC?
“Curiosity is what first brought me to Pathfinder. I heard about it through someone I knew, and I was genuinely surprised by the difference in them. When I visited and tried the NADA acupuncture myself, I felt the results for myself and loved the atmosphere immediately. So when the opportunity appeared at the right time, I didn’t hesitate.”

Q. Favourite ice-breaker?
“I’m not really an icebreaker person. I tend to try and get a feel for how someone is feeling when they walk in. The phrase I probably say the most is, ‘don’t look so scared,’ because it usually relieves the tension and takes the pressure off. We all get scared sometimes when we go into a new or unfamiliar place, and I think it helps people relax when they know you understand that.”

Wow! How lucky are we to have her!!!

If you have not met Tanya yet, please pop in and have a chat with her. If you are running an event and looking for collaborators or space to host your own events, or just a coffee and chat, then reach out the to queen of connections - Tanya Duncan.

Self-compassion is at the heart of what we teach. It is one of the hardest things to do.

How are you experiencing this word?

04/06/2026

One of the first things people often say after a NADA session is:
“I slept,” not just passed out from exhaustion, but actually slept.

Deep sleep is one of the first things the nervous system struggles with when someone has been carrying stress or trauma for a long time.

Because a traumatised nervous system does not fully switch off.
It stays alert, scanning, listening and preparing - even during rest.

That’s why so many people wake up tired, wired, anxious or emotionally exhausted before the day has even started.
NADA acupuncture helps support the nervous system by creating a sense of regulation and safety within the body. And when the body begins feeling safer, sleep often improves naturally.

People describe:
• falling asleep easier
• waking less during the night
• feeling calmer before bed
• fewer racing thoughts
• waking feeling more rested

Sleep is not lazy.
Sleep is repair.
It is one of the body’s most important healing mechanisms.

Sometimes improving someone’s sleep changes everything else that follows.
How is your sleep?

Most workplaces are trying to solve burnout once people are already running on empty.

The reality is many staff are carrying stress, overwhelm and nervous system dysregulation long before it shows up as absence, conflict, exhaustion or disengagement.

At Pathfinder CIC, we offer trauma-informed workplace wellbeing sessions designed to help people feel calmer, safer and more regulated within themselves.

Because people perform better when they are not constantly operating in survival mode.

Our workplace services include:
• Nervous system regulation tools
• Somatic practices
• Group NADA acupuncture
• Guided meditation
• Trauma-informed wellbeing training
• Staff wellbeing workshops

This work is gentle, practical and human.

And honestly, in the world we live in now, supporting the nervous system is no longer a luxury. It’s becoming essential leadership.

If you would like to explore wellbeing support for your team, send us a message.
