I’m pleased to share that my former colleague, Charlene, has recently started her own business providing remote administrative support.

Having worked with Charlene myself, I can genuinely vouch for how professional, reliable and thorough she is. She has a wealth of experience in administration and is brilliant at keeping things organised and making sure tasks are followed through to completion.

She’s also fantastic with people — approachable, patient and able to explain things clearly, even when dealing with more complicated or sensitive information.

If you’re a small business owner or professional who could use some reliable remote admin support, I’d definitely recommend taking a look at what she offers.

Please feel free to share this with anyone you think might benefit from her services too!

Wishing you lots of success with the new venture, Charlene! ❤️

Fantastic to be at the community preview event for the new Football Museum of Wales and Wrexham Museum tonight!

It’s great to see how the development work of the Museum of Two Halves has come together.

As Treasurer of the Friends of Wrexham Museum, attending was extra special. Our group works to support, promote, and assist the museum's activities, hosts talks and contributes to acquisitions and projects. It's a massive milestone to see the new museum come to life.

It was quite a nostalgic visit too. Having worked as an auditor for the FAW many years ago back at their old offices in Westgate Street in Cardiff, I remember when so much of this historic memorabilia had no dedicated home—priceless pieces literally sitting next to photocopiers. To see these treasures finally housed in a world-class venue right here in Wrexham is incredible.

Massive congratulations to everyone who made this vision a reality! The grand opening is on 25 September, book your free tickets here:

Early for a client meeting, so I’m making the most of it with a good coffee and a few quiet minutes. Not a bad start to the day! ☕️

Goody two shoes here was one of the first to complete the QuickBooks recertification exam and was rewarded with some special swag. Does this mean I can take a beach day with a new picnic blanket and flask? 🤓

In all seriousness, it's good to keep your skills up to date, thank you Intuit

Petition: The Welsh Government should urgently review the 182 day threshold on Welsh holiday accommodation The Senedd recently raised the occupancy threshold from 70 days to 182 to qualify for small business rates relief. This is very difficult to achieve particularly in inland areas. Tourism is being adversely affected and businesses are shutting down at a worrying rate.
