A few weeks ago, the Agro Innova Ltd team embarked on a large-scale distribution of 10,000 Day-Old Chicks and essential poultry inputs—including feeders, drinkers, drugs, heat lamps, and other farm supplies—to over 100 young females(LMAs) within the Ketu North District. 🐔👩🏾‍🌾

This support is part of our core vision to establish the Volta Region🇬🇭 as a major poultry production hub and our commitment to equipping young women with the resources they need to establish, grow, and sustain profitable poultry enterprises. 🐓🥚📈💚

We want to express our gratitude the MP of Ketu North Hon. Eric Edem Agbana, the MCE Hon. Rev. Martin Amenaki, the Municipal Agric Officer Mrs Charlotte Tay and other notable leaders who were present for their show of support and encouragement.

Last month, Agro Innova Ltd with the support FILMA successfully organized a Poultry Training Program for Last Mile Actors (LMAs) in the North Tongu District of the Volta Region, equipping participants with the knowledge and practical skills needed to build profitable and sustainable poultry businesses. 📚💡

The training covered best poultry farming practices, broiler production, contract farming, broiler marketing, and the adoption of AkokoTakra 📱—Agro Innova's livestock farm management app that enables farmers to manage their farms more efficiently through digital record-keeping and performance tracking.

Participants also engaged in hands-on practical sessions 🐥 on poultry management, feeding 🥣, watering 💧, and vaccination 💉, giving them the confidence and practical experience to apply these best practices on their own farms.

The participants left the training with enhanced technical knowledge, practical experience, digital tools, and the confidence to raise healthier birds 🐔, increase productivity 📈, improve profitability 💰, and strengthen their livelihoods 🌾.
