from the very beginning of threaded tribes, it has been important to us to build direct relationships with the communities where the textiles we use originate, ensuring that the social and economic value created remains rooted where these traditions were born.
the weavers and the way their minds work are endlessly fascinating! every textile is an expression of knowledge, from colour theory and geometry to science, rhythm and craftsmanship passed down through generations. the depth of thought, skill and cultural memory woven into every piece is remarkable.
we’re grateful to continue working hand in hand with local artisans and to keep bringing you more designs.
