π THE EMOTIONAL SIDE OF CANCER
Cancer affects more than the body. It can also affect a personβs thoughts, emotions, relationships, faith, and daily life.
A person living with cancer may experience:
πΉ Fear
πΉ Anxiety
πΉ Sadness
πΉ Anger
πΉ Loneliness
πΉ Uncertainty
πΉ Moments of hope and strength
There is no single βcorrectβ way to feel during a cancer journey.
Some days may be difficult. Other days may bring joy, gratitude, and renewed strength.
Please remember:
π You do not have to pretend to be strong every day.
π Asking for emotional support is not weakness.
π Talking to a trusted person can help.
π Professional counselling or support groups may also be useful.
Let us be gentle with people who are facing cancer.
Sometimes, the most powerful words are simply:
βI am here for you.β
β€οΈ I SURVIVED LYMPHOMA. NOW I SPEAK FOR HOPE.

π A Message of Hope to Every Lymphoma Warrior and Survivor
To everyone currently battling lymphoma, and to every survivor whose journey continues β this message is for you. π
I know the fear. I know the questions, the uncertainty, the sleepless nights, and the moments when you wonder, βWhy me? Will I make it through this?β I have been there.
But today, as a lymphoma survivor, I want to remind you: your diagnosis is part of your story, but it does not have to be the end of your story.
Take it one day at a time. Ask questions. Seek the care and support you need. Allow your family and loved ones to walk beside you. And when you feel weak, remember that you don't have to carry this journey alone.
To those still fighting, keep holding on to hope. To those who have completed treatment, your survival is a testimony and your story can inspire someone else. And to those who are struggling today, please remember that difficult days do not mean the journey is over.
I survived lymphoma, and now I speak for hope β because I believe there is life after cancer. ππ
You are not alone. Your life matters. Your story matters. And there is still hope.

π‘οΈ UNEXPLAINED FEVER β WHEN SHOULD YOU PAY ATTENTION?
Fever is common and can happen for many reasons, especially infections. But a fever that keeps returning or has no obvious cause is a change worth discussing with a healthcare professional.
Fever can occur among the symptoms associated with both Hodgkin and non-Hodgkin lymphoma, along with symptoms such as swollen lymph nodes, drenching night sweats, unexplained weight loss, and fatigue. However, these symptoms can also have many other causes.
π KNOW THE DIFFERENCE
Having a fever does NOT mean you have cancer.
The message is not to become afraid of every symptom. The message is to pay attention when something is persistent, unexplained, or concerning.
β€οΈ WHEN TO SEEK MEDICAL ADVICE
If you have a fever that:
β’ Has no clear cause
β’ Keeps coming back
β’ Persists
β’ Occurs together with other concerning changes
π Talk with a healthcare professional.
Don't panic.
Don't self-diagnose.
Don't ignore persistent changes.
Awareness helps us make informed decisions about our health.

SWOLLEN LYMPH NODES β WHAT SHOULD YOU KNOW?
Have you ever noticed a lump or swelling in your neck, underarm, or groin?
Lymph nodes are small structures that are part of your immune system. They can become swollen for many reasons, including infections and other conditions. Swollen lymph nodes do not automatically mean cancer.
However, persistent or unexplained swelling deserves attention.
π KNOW THE FACTS
Lymphoma can cause swollen lymph nodes, often in areas such as the neck, underarm, groin, or abdomen. Other symptoms may occur as well, depending on the type and location of the lymphoma.
β€οΈ WHEN SHOULD YOU PAY ATTENTION?
If you notice a swelling or lump that doesn't go away, continues to grow, or concerns you, speak with a healthcare professional so the cause can be properly assessed.
Don't panic.
Don't self-diagnose.
Don't ignore persistent changes.
Knowing your body isn't about living in fear.
It's about being informed.

WHAT EXACTLY IS BLOOD CANCER?
When we hear the words βblood cancer,β we may wonder:
What does that actually mean?
Blood cancer refers to cancers that begin in the blood-forming tissues, such as the bone marrow, or in cells of the immune system.
There are several types of blood cancer, including:
π©Έ LEUKEMIA
A cancer that begins in blood-forming tissue, such as the bone marrow.
π LYMPHOMA
A cancer that begins in lymphocytes, a type of white blood cell that helps the immune system fight disease.
𧬠MULTIPLE MYELOMA
A cancer that begins in plasma cells, another type of white blood cell.
These cancers are different, but they all affect the body's blood-forming or immune systems.
