Day 6: Skyway Monte Bianco"Riding to the Roof of Europe!" 🚡✨

​Taking a quick break from the trail to ride pure engineering magic! The Skyway Monte Bianco spins a full 360 degrees as it lifts you from Courmayeur straight into the high-alpine realm of Punta Helbronner (3,466m).

​Standing up here feels like reaching out and touching the summit of Mont Blanc itself. Infinite views over the glaciers, crisp alpine air, and a hot espresso at top altitude—definitely one of the most unforgettable moments of the whole journey! ☕🏔️🇮🇹

Day 5: Tour du Mont Blanc! 🇮🇹🏔️

​Cabane du Combal ➔ Courmayeur
​Easily one of the most scenic balcony trails on the entire trek! We climbed up from Lake Combal towards Mont Chétif, treated to non-stop, jaw-dropping views of Mont Blanc’s dramatic southern face and the massive Miage Glacier. 📸
​After soaking in the panoramic views over the valley, we tackled the long, winding descent down through pine forests right into the heart of Courmayeur. Time to trade the trail snacks for authentic Italian gelato and pizza! 🍕🍦✨

Day 4: Tour du Mont Blanc! 🇫🇷➔🇮🇹

​Refuge des Mottets ➔ Cabane du Combal
​Today we crossed borders on foot! We started with a steep climb up to Col de la Seigne (2,516m), leaving France behind and stepping into Italy with a breathtaking front-row panorama of Mount Blanc’s Italian face. ⛰️
​The descent brought us into the stunning Val Veny, hiking alongside massive glaciers and turquoise mountain streams. We wrapped up the day at Cabane du Combal, right next to a pristine alpine lake, surrounded by towering peaks and proper Italian hospitality! 🍝🇮🇹✨

Day 3: Tour du Mont Blanc! 🏔️☁️

​Refuge des Prés ➔ Refuge des Mottets

​Hands down one of the most wild and dramatic days of the trek! We climbed through rugged mountain passes, crossing snowy patches and rocky trails as we made our way up to Col du Bonhomme.

​Leaving the high alpine terrain behind, we descended into the remote, peaceful Vallée des Glaciers. Reached our sanctuary for the night, Refuge des Mottets—a charming old farm nestled right at the base of the mighty Aiguille des Glaciers.

​No signal, great food, warm vibes, and marmots running around the valley. Pure mountain bliss! 🏔⛰️🥾🇫🇷🇮🇹

Day 2: Tour du Mont Blanc! 🌲🏔️

​Auberge du Truc ➔ Refuge des Prés

​We started our morning with a peaceful descent through lush forests, dropping 600m into the vibrant Contamines valley for a well-deserved coffee break. ☕

​From the iconic Notre-Dame de la Gorge chapel, we followed the trail through the impressive gorge with incredible views all around. The final stretch was a steady 5km climb through beautiful alpine meadows, taking us from 1,500m up to 1,930m.

​We made it to our home for the night, Refuge des Prés, right under the mesmerizing, jagged peaks of Aiguilles de la Pennaz! Time for good food and cozy mountain vibes. ⛰️🏔☕️🥾🇫🇷

Day 1 of trekking around Europe’s highest peak! We set off from Les Houches, took the lift to Bellevue, and navigated forest trails to cross the suspension bridge over the wild Bionnassay glacier river.
​After a gentle climb through flower-filled meadows to Col de Tricot, we zigzagged down to Chalets de Miage for b**r with a front-row view of Aiguille de Bionnassay. Ended our first day at the cozy Auberge du Truc, taking in one of the best balconies in the Alps! 🏔️☕🥾🇫🇷

📍Tenedos (Bozcaada) ☀️ 🌊 ⛵️🍇

Σήμερα το ταξίδι με έφερε στα χώματα της αρχαίας Τροίας (στα βορειοδυτικά παράλια της Τουρκίας). Εκεί που η λογοτεχνία μπερδεύτηκε με την αρχαιολογία.
​Μπορεί ο Δούρειος Ίππος να ήταν το τέχνασμα του Οδυσσέα, αλλά η ίδια η πόλη ήταν πέρα για πέρα αληθινή. Σήμερα, περπατώντας στα ερείπιά της, βλέπεις τα απομεινάρια από 9 διαφορετικές εποχές που θάφτηκαν στο ίδιο σημείο ανά τους αιώνες.
