Rescue One Until There Are None.
Since 2009, Angels Among Us Pet Rescue has saved 23,000+ dogs and cats across Georgia, rescuing homeless pets from shelters and at-risk situations until they find loving forever homes.

When Angel volunteers were at the county shelter this week, there were a few little dogs we just couldn’t leave behind. We pulled them even though we didn’t have foster homes lined up.
Barnaby Button is one of those lucky pups.
He has a few minor medical issues we can get sorted out. Then he’ll be ready for happily ever after.

This is the fostering effect. 💙 The dog staring at the wall in the shelter and the dog you see playing and enjoying life are the SAME dog. A temporary home gave her a safe place to land, decompress and finally show everyone who she really is.
We desperately need more fosters right now. Angels Among Us is a foster-based rescue, which means every animal we save needs somewhere to go. When we don’t have that space, we have to say no to animals we could otherwise save.
If you’ve thought about fostering but worried about the expense, we cover all approved veterinary care and can provide supplies if you need them. You provide a safe, loving place while they wait for their forever family. And when your foster is adopted, you’ve made room for us to save another.
Fosters must live in the Greater Atlanta area. Want to learn more or ready to help? Call or text our Foster Hotline at 770-835-5844.

Kennedy Marie is becoming an Angel, and she needs someone in her corner. This sweet girl is scared and anxious, and she is also heartworm positive. She needs treatment to get healthy and a patient, loving foster who can give her a safe place to settle in and recover.
Angels covers her approved veterinary care and provides guidance and support throughout fostering. You provide the home, love, and help getting her to appointments. Heartworm treatment involves just a handful of vet visits, only a couple more than a typical dog, along with keeping her activity limited while she recovers.
We need to raise $1,500–$2,000 for Kennedy Marie’s heartworm treatment, intake vet care, and spay. Please consider donating toward her treatment or applying to foster her. 🖤🖤 In honor of Black Dog Month, you could make your gift in honor or memory of a black dog you love.

Excuse us while we go dig our childhood sticker books out of our parents’ basements.
We made these custom 90’s-inspired sticker sheets featuring some familiar Angels faces, and they’ll be waiting for you at The Fast and the Furriest 5K on October 18! Our quality-control supervisor clearly approves.
Come for the 5K. Stay for the nostalgia. Register here: www.angelsrescue.org
