Gracze stają na czele rywalizujących rodzin borsuków, walczących o pożywienie oraz kontrolę nad terytorium. Każda rodzina specjalizuje się w innym rodzaju pożywienia, a celem jest zdobycie jak największej liczby punktów za kontrolowane zasoby przed zakończeniem partii.

Ciekawostką jest to, że autorzy oparli poszczególne frakcje na rzeczywistych gatunkach borsuków występujących na świecie. Każdy gatunek posiada własny zestaw kart oraz unikalne zdolności specjalne, dzięki czemu styl gry poszczególnymi rodzinami wyraźnie się różni.
