The team continuously publishes the results of their competitive research, develops cooperation and works on projects at both national and international level.
The Learning Analytics (LA) Lab of the University of Zagreb's Faculty of Organization and Informatics comprises an interdisciplinary group of researchers and practitioners dealing with learning analytics, academic analytics, and related areas such as learning design. The Lab is the central place for learning analytics research in Croatia, with its key researchers also acclaimed in the international learning analytics community. Faculty of Organization and Informatics, as one of the constituent units of the University of Zagreb, offers undergraduate, graduate and postgraduate study programs related to information sciences. [LAS PROJECT] We’re excited to kick off the LAS project – Learning Analytics Ecosystem Supported by Artificial Intelligence! The project, led by Professor Blaženka Divjak, has been awarded funding through the Collaborative Scientific Research call, funded by the ERDF.
Over the next three years, we’ll explore how learning analytics and AI can work together to better support students, educators, and educational decision-making. Our aim is to develop a concept and prototype of a comprehensive learning analytics ecosystem that can be applied not only in education, but also in business contexts.

[ONGOING] The LALab team is taking an active part in the LAK26 conference this week in Bergen, Norway!
We started the week with a pre-conference workshop on *Evaluating the Quality of Learning Design of Courses and Curricula*. The fourth InnovateDesign workshop, co-organized by researchers from FOI, The Open University, Monash University, and the University of Maryland, and led by Professor Blaženka Divjak, encouraged hands-on work on learning design in the BDP tool (learning-design.eu) and fostered great discussions on curriculum analytics and AI assistance in learning design.
