ITM's National Traveller Policy Co-ordinator for Employment and Enterprise Bridget Kelly and TAIP Manager Megan Forrest attended the amazing Mr. Price Light the Way event, showcasing Mr. Price's incredible team and their inclusive employment practices. Mary Ward, TAIP bursary recipient and finance apprentice with Mr. Price, spoke about her experience with Mr. Price to a packed room. Bridget Kelly gave a presentation on Traveller employment, the importance of working in partnership and discussed ITM & Mr. Price's strategic relationship. Minister Dara Calleary also attended the event and Mr. Price launched their framework for inclusive employment. What a day! Thank you to Mr. Price for their unwavering support for Traveller employment.

The TAIP team delivered a workshop for young Travellers in D17 Traveller Movement. TAIP team member Rossa Gilsenan met with the local community and with organisation staff to inform them about our programme, our grant and apprenticeship opportunities. This was a really positive session with a lot of interest in different apprenticeship industries.

The TAIP team delivered a workshop to Turas Nua in their Portlaoise offices. TAIP manager Megan Forrest spoke about the TAIP, apprenticeship opportunities and our grant. Damien Quinn from Spéire Nua also presented about their work in employment for ex-prisoners which was really insightful. This was a really engaging session with excellent questions and participation from the attendees.
