Let me tell you about Samir Choughule—this guy is truly one of a kind. His timing, reactions, and writing are something else entirely. I started watching him on Maharashtrachi Hasya Jatra and instantly became a fan, leading me to watch every single episode. Along the way, I fell in love with all the other legendary artists too. Meeting him in person genuinely felt like meeting the whole MHJ team! Iconic characters like Sumariya Choughuliya and Satyashil Sarpotdar all came alive.

Because I watch every episode religiously, I now crack up at tiny deep-cut jokes carrying histories of inside jokes. After J***y Lever, he is the man I have laughed at the most. The sheer hard work he puts into every single skit and script ensures there are rarely any flops. I’ll often keep an episode running while working or listen to the audio while driving.

Then, at 3 AM, I saw a reel saying he was coming right here to Dublin! I didn’t hesitate and booked my ticket immediately to see the person I watch daily after work on my laptop, phone, TV, or car speakers.
There are plenty of comedians out there, but this guy captured me with his epic expressions and brilliant writing. Watching him live felt like seeing legendary Pu La Deshpande’s genius brought to life in full color!

If you know any Marathi, please watch Maharashtrachi Hasya Jatra and his live show Samya Samya Mehfilit Mazya. To the millions he makes laugh every single day, helping them heal: thank you for your relentless hard work and unmatched talent.
Wishing him the absolute best to keep bringing us innovative stuff.

Above all, I pray for his good health because at 53, that matters most. I am definitely catching his show whenever I’m back in India and Maharashtra.
Beyond his stage genius, he is wonderfully humble and down-to-earth. He makes you feel entirely comfortable, greeting every fan with a constant smile and zero celebrity attitude. It was truly an unforgettable experience meeting someone who brings so much genuine joy and positivity to countless lives across the globe every single day without fail. Truly inspiring!
