Passionate about Ethical Education? Meet your instructor! 🍎 We’re delighted to introduce Patricia Burke for our August summer course: Teaching the Learn Together curriculum in Educate Together schools.

Patricia has over a decade of experience in Educate Together schools and is currently a Special Education Teacher at Bracken ETNS. She holds an MSc in Education Training Management, was a DCU Teacher Fellow, and has lectured on Ethical Education. She also designed an online course on the new Learn Together curriculum and supports teachers as a Droichead mentor and Learn Together advisor.

This is a wonderful chance to learn from someone so deeply committed to equality-based education.

"What if we swapped instead of shopped?" 💭 That's the question Claregalway Educate Together National School Fourth Class asked themselves. And then they did something about it.

Their annual Toy Swap has grown every single year:
🧸 2023 → 80 toys swapped
🧸 2024 → 115 toys swapped
🧸 2025 → 145 toys swapped

These students are not waiting for someone else to fix plastic pollution. They're analysing, organising, and taking collective action—using methods that make sense for their age and their world.

Are you passionate about school management, volunteer recruitment, and making a tangible impact on educational leadership? 📚

We’re hiring a School Support and Volunteer Officer to join the Educate Together team. You’ll be responsible for recruiting and appointing volunteer board members, working closely with school principals and boards of management on governance, ethos, and operational matters.

It’s been well over three years since a new Educate Together school opened in Ireland. Meanwhile, demand for equality-based education has never been higher.

Six counties still have no Educate Together school at all:
📍 Cavan
📍 Monaghan
📍 Leitrim
📍 Longford
📍 Roscommon
📍 Tipperary

That means families in these areas who want a child-centred, equality-based model for their children simply don’t have that choice.

The good news? Communities are ready. Demand is growing. And together, we can change this.
