Lorraine will be collecting Monaghan County singlets on Monday September 14th between 7:15pm and 8pm at the car park in front of Iontas Theatre in Castleblayney.

Please return these items along with any other Community Games equipment you may have borrowed.

A huge congratulations to Senan Durnin, who has been crowned the 2026 Community Games Boys U14 200m All-Ireland Champion!

Senan was in outstanding form throughout the day, winning both his heat and semi-final to secure his place in the final. With anticipation building ahead of the race, he delivered when it mattered most, producing a superb display of speed, focus and determination.

In a thrilling final, Senan powered down the home straight and held off a strong challenge from his closest rival to cross the line in first place and claim the gold medal.

This is a fantastic achievement and a proud moment for Senan, his family, his community and all of Monaghan Community Games.

The girls represented Monaghan with great pride, showing outstanding skill, determination, teamwork, and sportsmanship throughout the competition. Reaching a National Final and bringing home Silver is an incredible accomplishment and one that all involved should be very proud of.

⚠️ Parents and athletes are reminded that all children competing in the National Finals Track & Field events must wear their Monaghan County singlet.
