Lekin ek baat clear kar lo — har UPI payment par charge nahi lagega. ❌
New MDR framework ke according, eligible Person-to-Merchant (P2M) UPI transactions mein ₹2,000 se upar ke payments par 0.4% MDR apply hoga.
💰 Examples:
₹3,000 → ₹12 MDR
₹5,000 → ₹20 MDR
₹10,000 → ₹40 MDR
₹50,000 → ₹200 MDR
₹75,000+ → maximum ₹300 MDR
₹1,00,000 → ₹300 MDR (₹300 cap)
सबसे जरूरी बात 👇
👤 Customer ko ye MDR alag se pay nahi karna hai.
🏪 Ye eligible transaction mein merchant-side charge hai.
Aur agar aap friend/family ko UPI se paisa bhej rahe ho, to P2P UPI transactions free rahenge, amount chahe kitna bhi ho.
🏪 Eligible small P2PM merchants ke liye zero-MDR protection ka provision bhi hai.
🤔 MDR hota kya hai?
MDR यानी Merchant Discount Rate — digital payment accept karne par merchant-side payment ecosystem ko diya jane wala processing charge.
Ye government tax nahi hai aur na hi har UPI transaction par lagne wala customer fee hai.
