Diary With Dad
This is a journey of my life that showcases '365 Days of Fun' with my Dad.
Bombay or California, it’s the same rhythm 🇮🇳🇺🇸
Marine Drive or the Pacific. Cutting chai or pizza. Sea Link at night or the Golden Gate. Different streets, same family, same noise, same dad cracking jokes in the car.
Growing up between India and America means you get two homes, two favorite foods, and twice the people who love you.
Which side of the screen feels like home to you? 👇
If we lived in the 80s… 📼✨
Switched to +91 and forgot what “quiet” sounded like 😂🇮🇳
Because India doesn’t just give you places to explore. It gives you a whole soundtrack to remember. ❤️
POV: You switched to +91 and suddenly the volume of life went ALL the way up 😂🇮🇳
From peaceful silence to horns, chatter, family conversations and full-on India energy. Wouldn’t have it any other way. ❤️
A little throwback before we do it all over again. 🦚✨
Last year gave us the celebrations, the chaos, the family time and some very good memories.
This year, Janmashtami is almost here… ❤️
And we can’t wait to show you what’s coming.
Something special is coming… 🦚✨
A little glimpse of our Janmashtami celebrations from last year, because this year’s celebration is almost here. ❤️
And trust us, you’ll want to see this one.
Maybe you don’t miss the festival. You miss the people who make it special. ❤️
For me, that’s my cousins. No matter how much time passes, we’re right back to the same chaos, laughter, and memories.
Some people just make India feel like home. 🇮🇳
Who are you missing this Rakhi? ❤️
Some bonds don’t need a reason to feel special. ❤️
With cousins, even the simplest moments turn into stories you’ll remember for years. 🥹✨
Tag the cousin who makes every family gathering better. ❤️
One small thread.
A thousand memories.
And a whole lot of distance in between.
Tag the cousin you wish you could celebrate Rakhi with. ❤️
You can tell a lot about a person by the way people treat them when they’re not trying to impress anyone.
I saw that firsthand when I visited Dad’s office.
He simply treats everyone with the same respect, and somehow, that respect comes right back.
It made me realize that success isn’t just about your career, job title, or where you work.
Sometimes, it’s about the kind of person you are when nobody is watching.
One of the best life lessons I’ve learned from Dad. ❤️
