With deep sadness, we mourn the loss of Phursemba Sherpa, who lost his life on Mount Manaslu.

For the past three years, he was an important part of our team. We will always remember his hard work, dedication, courage, and love for the mountains and our team.

He was more than a Sherpa to us — he was a valued member of our mountaineering family.

We will miss you, Phursemba. Your memory will always remain with us.

Another proud moment for Team GoClimbUp.

On 7 September 2026 at 7:30 in the morning, our team successfully stood on the summit of Mount Kun, 7,077 metres.

The climb was tough, the conditions were challenging, but we kept moving forward and reached the top.

This summit is not just about reaching 7,077 metres. It is about the team, the hard work, the long days, the difficult moments and the decision to never give up.

SUCCESSFULLY SUMMITED SHINKUN WEST

We are proud to announce the successful ascent of Shinkun West by the GoClimbUp expedition team on 15 August 2026.

The summit was achieved by our professional mountaineering team, supported by experienced high-altitude mountaineers and an elite Sherpa team. Despite the demanding Himalayan environment, the team maintained strong discipline, technical precision and effective teamwork throughout the ascent.

Favourable weather conditions during the summit window provided a suitable opportunity for the final summit push.

Another team is preparing to enter the high Himalayas, with the objective of reaching the summit safely and successfully.

Today, our team is moving towards Camp 1 after completing the acclimatization.

Tomorrow, we move higher to Summit Camp, where we’ll prepare for the final summit push towards Shinkun West and Shinkun South.
