When I say I’ve been to almost 100 lehenga shops, I’m not even exaggerating. 😭 Finally got done with all my outfits!! 🙂‍↕️

I always wanted to interview a director and learn more about how they make films, and finally got the chance to interview Meghna Gulzar. 🥹 It truly was such an amazing conversation. Went back and watched all her films again over the weekend. ❤️

Flew to Mumbai to shoot in some of the smallest houses, and it still surprises me every time that I get a chance to experience these stories and show them to you all too. 🥹 Video coming soon. :)

My god, what a crazy rollercoaster of an experience it was to actually get married legally. 😭 This was our first attempt and… well, let’s just say it was a journey. 👀

We failed miserably… 😭 Spent 2–3 hours trying to understand what we were doing wrong, only to realise… there was nothing. 😭

Attempted this for the second time, and almost cancelled again this time too. 😭 But my father, being a BSF officer, tried and spoke to every officer there, and we finally submitted our application form. 🥹

Wow, this was a surprise for me too. 🥹 It was such a great experience to actually interview Jimmy Wales, who co-founded Wikipedia. ❤️

Talked to so many of you during our live workshop 🥹 It always feels so nice to actually interact with you all. ❤️

And this 🥹 We went to Bangalore to shop for sarees for all our guests, and it definitely did not disappoint. My mom picked out gifts for everyone, and we’re finally done with all the saree shopping. 🌻

A district of Madhya Pradesh - Balaghat.
Rich in forests, biodiversity and minerals, yet many Adivasi communities living here continue to struggle with basic necessities.

Balaghat gives India manganese, copper and other minerals. But behind these resources is a reality that deserves attention: more than 25+ tribal children have lost their lives, while many others have faced illness, malnutrition and limited access to healthcare.

And Balaghat is not the only place where resource-rich communities face difficult realities.
Jharia gives India coal, while communities living here face the consequences of fires, land subsidence and displacement.

Jadugoda gives India uranium, while communities living around uranium mining have raised concerns about health and environmental impacts.

The resources may fuel our development, but the people living on these lands should not have to pay the price.

The police were checking hotel records and pulling out every reporter who'd come from Delhi- the cost we pay for showing reality.

In the heart of India, Madhya Pradesh. I pre-booked a hotel for 3 days with my team for a shoot.

But within a day, we were asked to vacate it. The reason given was a family function. We were a little doubtful, but still vacated it.

We took another hotel. Weirdly, wahan bhi, within a night, humein vacate karne ko bola gaya.

I was confused. But later we found out that the police are trying to hide the reality of the Balaghat district of Madhya Pradesh where more than 25 children had lost their lives to basic diseases like m*laria, m*asles, and malnutrition.

Log sadko pe aa kar insaaf maang rahe the. Lad rahe the for better healthcare facilities and more responsible systems.

I went there because it is important to show this side of India too.

But I was honestly scared. I was constantly being watched; the police had my Aadhaar details.

Lol, I wish such resources, such quick action, were used for the health and facilities of these villagers.

Turns out, the priority isn't fixing the reality. It's hiding it.
