Truth For Life

"Before you hang your hope on a biblical promise or build your case for a theological doctrine on a single Bible verse, make sure your interpretation is supported by the overarching framework of the passage."

-J. Warner Wallace

A Tribute to Pastor John MacArthur

With deep sorrow and heavy hearts, we mourn the passing of our beloved teacher and shepherd, Pastor John MacArthur. His unwavering dedication to biblical truth, his profound teachings, and his lifelong commitment to serving the Lord have left an indelible mark on countless lives around the world.

For decades, Pastor MacArthur faithfully preached the Word of God without compromise, guiding generations toward a deeper understanding of Scripture. His wisdom, courage, and passion for the Gospel inspired millions, and his legacy will continue to shape the Church for years to come.

While we grieve his absence, we also celebrate his life—a life well-lived in service to Christ. He has now entered into the presence of his Savior, hearing the words, "Well done, good and faithful servant" (Matthew 25:23).

Our prayers are with his family, friends, and the Grace Community Church community during this difficult time. May God’s peace, comfort, and strength surround all who mourn.

"The Lord gave, and the Lord has taken away; blessed be the name of the Lord." (Job 1:21)

He did not choose holy people to be holy. He chose wicked people to be holy.

- John Piper

"We are called to love others. We share the gospel because we love people. And we don't share the gospel because we don't love people. Instead, we wrongly fear them. "

- Mark Dever

"Satan can't keep God from answering prayers, but he will keep us from asking."

- Adrian Rogers

"It is in our forgiveness of other people’s sins against us that we reveal the fact that we have been truly forgiven by God."

- Alistair Begg
