Case studies simulate real life business situations, thereby helping learners to understand business problems and the impor tance of decision making. They provide us with the best of oppor tunities for the application of concepts under various disciplines. It is a method which is interactive, and helps co-creation of knowledge, through a spectrum of information processing-leading to creative thinking. It is one of the best ways of dissecting numerous issues of the real-world problem and applying a range of analy tical and problem-solving skills in order to build a credible argument that is practical. Keeping in view the dynaminics of business and the ever increasing uncer tainty of the outcomes of business decisions, a need is felt to understand and propagate this pedagogical tool so as to accentuate its importance in both, management education as well as the corporate world.
