5th August 2026: Today marks a proud milestone for Wakha Lamjingbi VLF under Kangleipak CLF, , with the inauguration of its new VLF office- a vision realised through the collective demand raised under VPRP-PGSRD.

The occasion was graced by Shri Sheikh Noorul Hassan, MLA of Kshetrigao A/C, the BDO of Kshetrigao Block, and the Chairperson of Naharup GP. Their presence reflects a shared commitment to strengthening community institutions and empowering grassroots development.

2-3 August 2026: A hands-on training programme was organised for CRPs and CFs representing 14 Village Level Federations (VLFs) in District to strengthen the implementation of the Digital Aajeevika Register (DAR).

Participants were trained to accurately collect and record household net income data, ensuring the identification of potential Lakhpati Didis and enabling targeted livelihood interventions under DAY-NRLM.

Empowering communities with quality data today for a more prosperous tomorrow.

4th August 2026: An awareness campaign on the Elimination of Single-Use Plastic was successfully conducted at , , in collaboration with the 4 VLFs of Mayang Langjing Gram Panchayat (GP) and the Manipur Pollution Control Board.

A total of 60 participants actively took part in the campaign, demonstrating a shared commitment towards a cleaner and greener future.

3rd August 2026: An awareness campaign on the Elimination of Single-Use Plastic was successfully conducted at , , in collaboration with the 8 VLF of Lairenjam Meijrao Gram Panchayat (GP) and the Manipur Pollution Control Board.

The program aimed to raise awareness about the harmful impacts of single-use plastics on the environment while encouraging the adoption of sustainable and eco-friendly alternatives. A total of 63 participants actively took part in the campaign, demonstrating a shared commitment towards a cleaner and greener future.

27 July 2026: Today, Manipur Rural Bank (MRB) Lilong sanctioned a loan of ₹1.5 lakh to Imonu SHG, a Self-Help Group under Manipur State Rural Livelihoods Mission - MSRLM comprising Internally Displaced Persons (IDPs) from Moreh who are currently taking shelter at Urup OBC Girls' Hostel, .

This financial support will strengthen the group's livelihood activities, enabling its members to build sustainable sources of income and move towards greater self-reliance.

At MSRLM, we remain committed to empowering vulnerable communities through financial inclusion, restoring dignity, and creating sustainable opportunities for those rebuilding their lives.
