Study Social Work

Many many happy returns of the day.

Last week, it was a wonderful privilege to guide a group of students from Jagannath Kishore College who are currently pursuing their internship in the social sector. We welcomed them to our new project office at the Tribal Skilling Centre, where they were introduced to the real essence of social work and community engagement.
The students showed genuine curiosity and enthusiasm toward the field of social work, and that inspired us to ignite a deeper passion within them. We shared how social work is not just a profession, but a powerful journey of creating positive social change. A simple role, when driven by commitment and empathy, can become a force that transforms lives and communities.
We believe this spark of interest must continue to grow stronger. Society needs to recognize and respect social work professionals more deeply, while creating a stronger identity for those who dedicate themselves to serving people. Through such interactions, we are not only guiding students — we are preparing the next generation of compassionate social workers and future change-makers for society.

It was a pleasure to guide MSW students from Netaji Open University at Jan Shikshan Sansthan, Purulia during last 3-days, We discussed social work concepts, how to study social work effectively, professional expectations, and the practical functioning of our organization.
Hope this exposure helps them strengthen their understanding and skills for their future journey in social work.

Best wishes to all the students
