From a challenging retinal detachment to 6/6 vision — a journey worth celebrating! 👁️✨
This patient presented with rhegmatogenous retinal detachment (RRD) and underwent pars plana vitrectomy with endolaser and silicone oil tamponade.
After successful retinal stabilization, she subsequently underwent phacoemulsification with IOL implantation and silicone oil removal.
Today, she is 6/6 without glasses — and, most importantly, she is happy with her vision and kind enough to share her experience with us. ❤️
For a surgeon, there is no greater satisfaction than seeing a patient regain not just vision, but also confidence and happiness.
