From 15 October 2026, the new UPI MDR framework applies to eligible Person-to-Merchant (P2M) transactions above ₹2,000. The MDR is 0.4% of the transaction value, with a maximum cap of ₹300 per transaction. For example, on a ₹10,000 eligible merchant payment, 0.4% MDR would be ₹40. Importantly, MDR is not a tax—it is a payment-processing fee within the UPI ecosystem. The money is distributed among relevant payment ecosystem participants rather than simply going to the government. P2P payments remain outside this MDR framework.

There is literally no real issue here. If one sevadar out of thousands stopped someone from taking a photo, so what? Why keep posting that one incident again and again just to spread unnecessary hate?

Yes, the Golden Temple isn’t a tourist spot. Take one respectful photo, post it—no problem. The issue is standing there for ages, posing and treating it like a tourist attraction. Take one photo and move on.

Stop fooling people and creating hate out of nothing. And honestly, if your page keeps spreading hate against Muslims, the problem isn’t the incident—it’s your mindset.

This Dog Followed Me 2 KM Through the Forest

Sometimes, the most beautiful travel stories come from the most unexpected companions. ❤️🐾

Last night, I stayed at Hairakhan Baba Temple in the mountains of Uttarakhand.

Surrounded by forests and towering mountains, with the Gola River flowing nearby, the sound of the river could be heard from every corner of the temple. It created a kind of peace that’s hard to describe.

There were two dogs at the temple — Moti and his friend.

That night, Moti's friend quietly came into my room when I opened the door and comfortably fell asleep beside my bed.

The next morning, when I started walking from the temple towards the main road, Modi followed me.

The main road was about 2 kilometers away, through the forest.

And the way Modi walked with me was something I’ll never forget.

He would run about 50 meters ahead, stop, look over the bushes, check his surroundings, and wait for me.

Then, as soon as I got close, he would run past me again and stop another 50 meters ahead.

He kept doing this all the way to the main road.

And the most beautiful part?

He stayed with me until I found my ride.

As soon as my vehicle arrived, Moti turned around and went back toward the mountains.

No expectation. No reward.

Just a little companionship… and then back to his own world. ❤️

Maybe that’s why mountain journeys stay with us.

Because in the mountains, the stories you find along the way become more memorable than the destination itself.
