When the client said "make it unique" — we went to a scrap yard.

Old doors. Exposed pipes. Salvaged furniture.

Not a compromise. A concept.

The brief: a photography studio office in Surat.

590 sq.ft. Second floor. One window. Tight budget.

So instead of hiding the building — we made it the design.
The electrical conduit pipes became the branches of a Banyan Tree.

Spreading across the ceiling. Hanging down as lights.

Terminating at the switchboard-like roots in the ground.

Old panel doors from a scrap yard became partitions.

Cut into 150×150mm panels. Fitted with light fixtures.

Hung from rope. Finished in warm tones.

That's how a door became a chandelier.

Every "problem" in this space became a decision.

Every constraint became a character.

This is the philosophy I carry into every Seedtree project.
Design doesn't need a big budget.

It needs intention.

If your office space feels generic and you want it to say something —

Start with a conversation.

Most offices hide their infrastructure.

We made ours the hero.

Look up. Those aren't just pipes.

They're the branches of a Banyan Tree.

Spreading across the ceiling.

Branching into every corner.

Hanging down as light.
Terminating at the wall as roots.

The electrical conduit — the thing every contractor hides behind a false ceiling — became the entire design language of this space.

Old panel doors, sourced from a scrap yard, were cut into panels and converted into hanging light fixtures.
Strung from rope.

Warm. Handmade. Intentional.

The furniture? Also scrap yard.

A colonial teak desk. Old chairs re-upholstered in green.
A workspace that felt lived-in from day one.

This is what happens when you stop fighting the constraints —
and start designing with them.
