🌱 Relationships Are Cultivated

Adult relationships don’t always begin with an immediate spark. Sometimes, they begin quietly—with a conversation, a shared experience, or simply two people choosing to give each other a chance.

As adults, we come with different experiences, personalities, wounds, responsibilities, and expectations. So connection may not always happen instantly. And that doesn’t necessarily mean the relationship isn’t worth pursuing.

A spark may catch our attention, but consistency builds trust. Attention creates connection. Understanding creates depth. And time reveals character.

The Bible reminds us that:
“𝙇𝙤𝙫𝙚 𝙞𝙨 𝙥𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙚𝙣𝙩, 𝙡𝙤𝙫𝙚 𝙞𝙨 𝙠𝙞𝙣𝙙… 𝙄𝙩 𝙖𝙡𝙬𝙖𝙮𝙨 𝙥𝙧𝙤𝙩𝙚𝙘𝙩𝙨, 𝙖𝙡𝙬𝙖𝙮𝙨 𝙩𝙧𝙪𝙨𝙩𝙨, 𝙖𝙡𝙬𝙖𝙮𝙨 𝙝𝙤𝙥𝙚𝙨, 𝙖𝙡𝙬𝙖𝙮𝙨 𝙥𝙚𝙧𝙨𝙚𝙫𝙚𝙧𝙚𝙨.” — 1 𝘾𝙤𝙧𝙞𝙣𝙩𝙝𝙞𝙖𝙣𝙨 13:4–7

Biblical love is more than a feeling. It is something we 𝙘𝙝𝙤𝙤𝙨𝙚 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙥𝙧𝙖𝙘𝙩𝙞𝙘𝙚
—through patience, kindness, forgiveness, understanding, and perseverance.

“𝘼𝙨 𝙞𝙧𝙤𝙣 𝙨𝙝𝙖𝙧𝙥𝙚𝙣𝙨 𝙞𝙧𝙤𝙣, 𝙨𝙤 𝙤𝙣𝙚 𝙥𝙚𝙧𝙨𝙤𝙣 𝙨𝙝𝙖𝙧𝙥𝙚𝙣𝙨 𝙖𝙣𝙤𝙩𝙝𝙚𝙧." — Proverbs 27:17
The people we allow into our lives can help shape us, challenge us, and bring out growth in us. And sometimes, that growth takes time.

Ecclesiastes 4:9–10 reminds us that “𝘤𝘩𝘰𝘰𝘴𝘦 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘱𝘳𝘢𝘤𝘵𝘪𝘤𝘦” because we are not meant to walk through everything alone. There will be moments when one falls and the other helps them up.

And Colossians 3:13 tells us to “𝘣𝘦𝘢𝘳 𝘸𝘪𝘵𝘩 𝘦𝘢𝘤𝘩 𝘰𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘳 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘧𝘰𝘳𝘨𝘪𝘷𝘦 𝘰𝘯𝘦 𝘢𝘯𝘰𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘳.” That is the reality of mature relationships. We learn each other. We adjust. We communicate. We forgive. We give grace.

So don't be too quick to dismiss a relationship simply because there wasn't an immediate connection. Some relationships are not fireworks—they are a small flame. And that flame becomes brighter because two people keep tending to it.

Like a seed, a relationship needs 𝙩𝙞𝙢𝙚, 𝙖𝙩𝙩𝙚𝙣𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣, 𝙥𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙚𝙣𝙘𝙚, 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙘𝙖𝙧𝙚 before it can grow into something beautiful. The best relationships aren't always instantly found; they are intentionally cultivated.

Give it time.
Give it attention.
Give it grace.
Give it room to grow.

And trust God to reveal what is worth nurturing. 🌱❤️ Sometimes, what doesn't begin with a spark can still become something that shines ✨️

“𝙎𝙤𝙢𝙚𝙩𝙞𝙢𝙚𝙨, 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙗𝙞𝙜𝙜𝙚𝙨𝙩 𝙩𝙝𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙨𝙩𝙖𝙣𝙙𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙗𝙚𝙩𝙬𝙚𝙚𝙣 𝙪𝙨 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙤𝙪𝙧 𝙥𝙪𝙧𝙥𝙤𝙨𝙚 𝙞𝙨 𝙣𝙤𝙩 𝙛𝙖𝙞𝙡𝙪𝙧𝙚—𝙞𝙩’𝙨 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙛𝙚𝙖𝙧 𝙤𝙛 𝙡𝙤𝙤𝙠𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙛𝙤𝙤𝙡𝙞𝙨𝙝.”

We worry about what people will say, how we will be judged, or whether others will understand what we are doing. But purpose often requires us to step outside our comfort zone and do things that may not make sense to everyone.

Noah probably looked foolish building an ark when there was no rain. David probably looked foolish standing before Goliath with a sling. Peter probably looked foolish stepping out of the boat. 𝙔𝙚𝙩 𝙩𝙝𝙚𝙞𝙧 𝙤𝙗𝙚𝙙𝙞𝙚𝙣𝙘𝙚 𝙢𝙖𝙩𝙩𝙚𝙧𝙚𝙙 𝙢𝙤𝙧𝙚 𝙩𝙝𝙖𝙣 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙤𝙥𝙞𝙣𝙞𝙤𝙣𝙨 𝙤𝙛 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙥𝙚𝙤𝙥𝙡𝙚 𝙖𝙧𝙤𝙪𝙣𝙙 𝙩𝙝𝙚𝙢.

When we stop trying to protect our image, we become more willing to pursue what God is calling us to do.

𝙔𝙤𝙪 𝙙𝙤𝙣'𝙩 𝙝𝙖𝙫𝙚 𝙩𝙤 𝙡𝙤𝙤𝙠 𝙞𝙢𝙥𝙧𝙚𝙨𝙨𝙞𝙫𝙚 𝙩𝙤 𝙗𝙚 𝙤𝙗𝙚𝙙𝙞𝙚𝙣𝙩. 𝙔𝙤𝙪 𝙙𝙤𝙣'𝙩 𝙝𝙖𝙫𝙚 𝙩𝙤 𝙝𝙖𝙫𝙚 𝙚𝙫𝙚𝙧𝙮𝙤𝙣𝙚'𝙨 𝙖𝙥𝙥𝙧𝙤𝙫𝙖𝙡 𝙩𝙤 𝙛𝙪𝙡𝙛𝙞𝙡𝙡 𝙮𝙤𝙪𝙧 𝙥𝙪𝙧𝙥𝙤𝙨𝙚.

Sometimes, faith looks like being willing to look foolish in the eyes of people so you can be faithful in the eyes of God.

Release the fear.
Take the step.
Let God handle the outcome. 🙏

Today, she begins her WILD – 𝙒𝙞𝙡𝙙𝙚𝙧𝙣𝙚𝙨𝙨 𝙄𝙣𝙨𝙥𝙞𝙧𝙚𝙙 𝙇𝙚𝙖𝙙𝙚𝙧𝙨𝙝𝙞𝙥 𝘿𝙚𝙫𝙚𝙡𝙤𝙥𝙢𝙚𝙣𝙩 𝘾𝙖𝙥𝙨𝙩𝙤𝙣𝙚 𝙀𝙭𝙥𝙚𝙙𝙞𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣 — another beautiful milestone and an opportunity to grow in courage, independence, leadership, and faith.

We left the house at 520am to drop her off. As a mom, my heart is at peace, knowing that God goes before her, walks beside her, and watches over her every step of the way. 🙏✨

Go embrace the adventure, Bebong! 🌿 Trust yourself, trust the journey, and 𝙖𝙗𝙤𝙫𝙚 𝙖𝙡𝙡, 𝙩𝙧𝙪𝙨𝙩 𝙂𝙤𝙙.

May He guide and protect you and your whole team throughout this expedition. Off to the WILD she goes, covered in prayers and God’s grace.🙏🌲❤️

𝙍𝙤𝙖𝙙 𝙩𝙧𝙞𝙥𝙨 𝙝𝙖𝙫𝙚 𝙗𝙚𝙚𝙣 𝙥𝙖𝙧𝙩 𝙤𝙛 𝙤𝙪𝙧 𝙬𝙚𝙚𝙠𝙚𝙣𝙙𝙨 𝙡𝙖𝙩𝙚𝙡𝙮... 🚗💙

Last week, we were in Canada. This weekend, we're on our way to Virginia.

One thing both trips had in common? 🌧️ Rain. It rained almost the entire time we were in Canada, and yesterday, as we drove to Virginia, the skies opened up once again.

It made me smile because it reminded me of how God's blessings often look. They don't always come with sunshine. Sometimes they pour quietly, just like the rain.

These trips remind me not to take anything for granted. The ability to travel, spend time with family and friends (plus attending a birthday 🎂 celebration), serve where we're needed, and simply have the time and resources to go... those are blessings I once only prayed for.

I'm grateful—not because of the destination, but because of the journey. Every mile is another reminder of God's faithfulness.

May we never become so busy chasing the next thing that we forget to thank Him for what we already have.

Indeed, blessings are pouring... and by God's grace, may they continue to overflow—not just for us, but so we can also be a blessing to others.🙏💙

My Mother is finally out of rehab, and my heart is beyond grateful. ❤️🙏

This is the reason why I've been **𝙈𝙄𝘼 (𝙈𝙞𝙨𝙨𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙞𝙣 𝘼𝙘𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣).**

It's not because I gave up... it's because life sometimes calls us to pause and take care of what matters most.

There are moments when family needs us more than our plans do. There are urgent matters that simply can't wait. And when that happens, we answer that call with love.

But one thing never changed—I never lost sight of my goals. I never stopped believing. I just had to press the **pause** button for a little while.

Today, with a grateful heart and renewed strength, **𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗤𝘂𝗲𝗲𝗻 𝗶𝘀 𝗕𝗮𝗰𝗸!** 👑

Ready to keep building, keep serving, and keep pursuing the dreams God has placed in my heart—all in His perfect timing.
