Three weeks ago, I bought three trays of fertilized eggs at a total cost of KSh 1,950. Now I have 80 pure kienyeji chicks that are already booked at KSh 110 each.
My estimated gross earnings are 110 × 80 = 8,800.
My net profit is 8,800 − 1,950 − 500 (for electricity) = 6,350.
Since the incubator is fully automated, my only job was to set the eggs and forget about them for the next few days. If I had decided to save the 1,950 in a locked savings account, I would still have the same 1,950 now. Thanks to this incubator, my 1,950 is now 8,800. 😁
