We’re happy to announce that the 12th Edition of Souk el Kotob will take place on November 8 and 9 at Souk el Tayeb, Mar Mikhael, Beirut.

Saturday, November 8: 5:00 PM – 10:00 PM
Sunday, November 9: 12:00 PM – 8:00 PM

Bookyard once again organized its pre-owned real books (second-hand) Book Market, Souk el Kitab, at the CLAC garden in Byblos.
The latest edition, held on September 13th and 14th, 2025, was a great success, drawing readers and book lovers from all over Lebanon.

In addition to the rich collection of books, the market also welcomed local artisans, featuring handmade paper crafts and stationery, as well as storytelling sessions for children in the garden.

Founded in 2013, Bookyard hosted its very first book market and book exchange in Byblos. Since then, it has grown into a socio-cultural collective with a mission: by buying, exchanging, or reselling pre-owned books, we help reduce book waste while giving new life to old books—and honoring their authors.

At a time when Lebanon is facing severe inflation, choosing second-hand books at affordable prices is not only a cultural act but also a smart investment.

The book market in Byblos returns with a wide selection of Pre-owned real books. Whether you have books to sell, buy or exchange, you can spend time at the CLAC garden Byblos and enjoy a good read, a refreshing lemonade or a cup of coffee.
