The Design Collective was founded by two friends, Binu Wickramasinghe and Shahili Gomes, as a place to share their love for fashion, design, art and travel. TDC is aimed at promoting designers from Sri Lanka and elsewhere in South East Asia by providing a unique retail space in which to showcase their designs. TDC is a place not just to buy and sell, but to learn and create.

An open conversation about intimacy, desire, pleasure, and learning what we want.
Led by Everystory, this conversation explores what pop culture has taught us about relationships and intimacy, how we communicate what we want, the different ways people experience pleasure, and whether there really is a “right” way to connect.

After a long-awaited return, JODI lands at The Design Collective with their newest collection, “Only Fools & Fish” a celebration of craftsmanship, colour and conscious design, rooted in India’s rich artisanal traditions. Explore the full collection in person, discover pieces crafted using techniques like hand block printing, Bandhani dyeing and hand embroidery and get the chance to meet co-founder Gauri Verma, who’ll be present throughout the pop-up.
