Road Tragedy
A devastating traffic accident has been reported near Salala on the Monrovia–Ganta Highway, with two men feared dead following a vehicle crash.
The incident involved a white Toyota Land Cruiser bearing registration number A6A0756, which is said to be affiliated with the Catholic Diocese of Cape Palmas. Reports indicate that the vehicle was headed toward Monrovia when it suddenly left the roadway and ended up in the surrounding bush after the driver reportedly lost control.
Several people were travelling in the vehicle at the time of the crash. Witnesses say six persons who were in the vehicle survived with injuries and were taken to a nearby health facility for medical attention.
Two others were pronounced dead at the scene, according to accounts from bystanders.
The circumstances surrounding the accident remain under review, and further details are expected as authorities continue their assessment of the scene.

Public attention has been drawn to a female Liberia National Police officer who was reportedly captured on camera drinking alcohol while in uniform and on duty. The footage has generated debate among citizens, with many questioning standards of conduct within the police force.
