Born in Sweden to a visual artist and a film producer, Jeanette Ivarson spent her childhood on movie sets where she was captivated by set design, costumes, and Hollywood’s glamour. In 1984, after having lived in three continents and absorbing a variety of cultures, Jeanette chose to establish her atelier in the principality of Monaco where she launched her first brand, JIKI, which she named after her initials Jeanette Irene Kerstin Ivarson. Her one-of-a-kind silhouettes, and the craftsmanship of her atelier, came together to produce a unique style of sensual elegance that immediately attracted artists, celebrities and public figures. Ever since, Jeanette has designed over 100 collections in Monte-Carlo, and has provided her outstanding styles to prestigious boutiques and distinguished clientele worldwide. In 2012, faithful to the recognized quality and sophistication of her talent, Jeanette launched a new brand, "IVARSON Monte-Carlo."
