Mental Health First Aid (MHFA) is an internationally recognized training course, now offered in the RMI! In the same way as learning physical first aid, MHFA teaches people how to recognize those crucial warning signs of mental ill health and feel confident to guide someone to appropriate support. Embedding MHFA training within any organization or community also encourages people to talk more freely about mental health, reducing stigma and creating a more positive culture. Anyone can attend an MHFA course but an interest in mental health and wellbeing is desirable. When you have completed the course, you will receive a certificate to confirm that you are a trained Mental Health First Aider and a fold-out card summarising the five-step MHFA action plan to carry with you.

Today is World Mental Health Day 🌎đź§
While mental health is important every day of the year, today provides an opportunity to raise awareness and start important conversations.
Our 2024 Women's Mental Health Research revealed 71% of women strongly agreed that there is only a surface level acceptance of mental health issues and a lot of stigma exists around speaking up/asking for help.
The Liptember Foundation is committed to changing this!
Let’s use this day to reach out to those who may feel isolated in their struggles and remind them they’re not alone. ❤️
