Voices Rising - Film and Storytelling | Seed&Spark Most Americans can’t find the Marshall Islands on a map yet the island atoll country is ground zero for climate change and US nuclear testing. This film humanizes these entrenched issues through the perspective of young, diasporic Marshallese musicians from Arkansas coming home for the first time.

Rooted in heart and community, this project has truly been a labor of love. Our team is proud to officially launch our post production crowdfunding campaign for VOICES RISING - our first feature documentary following young Marshallese musicians as they return home to reconnect with their roots and confront the realities of nuclear legacy and sea level rise.

This film has been years in the making, built with love alongside the Marshallese community, and shaped by every conversation, every song, and every person who’s believed in this vision from the beginning. Now, we’re in the final stretch: post-production.

We’re raising $10K to reach picture lock and bring this story fully to life + looking for at least 350 followers on the campaign page!
