Many relationships, including those among believers, do not fail only because of visible mistakes or wrongdoing. Sometimes the struggle is deeper than what people can see. A partner is not only someone to love; a partner can also complement your calling. When your calling carries influence, purpose, and the potential to touch many lives, opposition often increases.

If your union is connected to something that will impact lives greatly, even through future children – battles may arise that are beyond ordinary explanation, because relationships and marriages often become places where God’s purposes are established on earth.

That is why giving your life fully to God is important. Only God can help you stand against what fights the higher purpose attached to your life. When a family carries great purpose, many kinds of pressure can appear: conflict, discouragement, division, loss, fear, and unexpected attacks meant to weaken what God intends to build.

This is why relationships need more than feelings, plans, or human strength — they need God. When God is truly involved, He gives wisdom, protection, discernment, and strength to endure what would otherwise destroy the union. Where your treasure is, your heart will be also. Let God be your treasure in everything, and He will guide what concerns the rest.

LISTEN‼️ SMALL BEGINNINGS SHOULD NEVER DISQUALIFY YOU BUT BUILD YOU.
Many things that are now loved, supported, or trending by many people also began unnoticed, with little attention and limited support. What appears great today once existed in a small form.

Do not stop because you have seen something already working elsewhere, because there are bigger voices speaking, or because something larger is already happening in town. Your own beginning still matters.

The small things you are doing today are not useless; they are preparing you for the future. They are training grounds for the bigger picture ahead. In many cases, greatness first lives inside what looks small. Small beginnings are containers carrying a future bigger picture.

Giving up is costly because it can destroy what was meant to grow through consistency. What looks small today may be the very foundation of something significant tomorrow.

So do not stop yourself because something appears more established than you. Keep going. Stay consistent. What you are building will work in its time 💪🔥

There are moments when the devil and his people will try hard to make you break down, weaken your spirit, and silence your progress but do not give in. Keep making your shots, keep moving, keep standing, keep believing. Every silent effort, every tear, every prayer, and every battle you survive is building something greater. Don't be afraid, Jesus is with you (John 6:20). Your breakthrough will not just come quietly and it will explode like a bomb, undeniable and impossible to ignore.

A RELATIONSHIP FEEDS ON YOUR SPIRITUAL ENERGY TOO ‼️
A relationship is not only emotional; it is also spiritual, and for it to remain strong, it must be sustained through spiritual investment. Gifts, love languages, attention, and surprises are valuable expressions of love, but they are not enough on their own to carry a relationship through every season.

A relationship feeds on your spiritual energy too. Prayer, studying God’s Word, worship, and other spiritual activities help build the inner strength needed to sustain love, commitment, and self-control. Ecclesiastes 4:12 says, “A cord of three strands is not quickly broken,” showing that when God is included, the relationship becomes stronger and more secure.

Many Christian relationships weaken because spiritual growth is neglected. When spiritual strength fades, people become more vulnerable to temptation, compromise, and behaviors that slowly damage trust and purity.

A healthy relationship therefore needs more than affection—it needs God at the center, because spiritual strength often determines how well a relationship survives difficult moments. As John 15:5 says, “Without Me you can do nothing.” So it is necessary that you continue improving and growing your spiritual life to keep your relationship going with needed stamina.

Relationship Advice ❗ Why Love for God Must Come Before Boundaries?

One truth many people overlook in relationships is this: when love for God is absent, even good boundaries can fail.

Boundaries are important, but boundaries alone are not enough. You may decide not to meet at certain hours, avoid staying in private places, or refuse to create situations that increase temptation. Those decisions are wise, but they are not the highest form of protection. Why? Because life does not always follow planned boundaries. There may come a day when the two of you are alone, in a closed space, or in an unexpected moment you did not plan for.

At that point, what will keep you is not merely the rule you wrote down — it is the fear of God in your heart. A person who truly loves God will resist anything that threatens purity, because love for God creates conviction from within. Even believers who are born again and Spirit-filled can fall if they depend only on external controls without strengthening their inner devotion to God.

Boundaries are necessary, but when boundaries are tested, love for God becomes the deeper safeguard that keeps you standing.
