Spliff.

“Spliff.” formally know as Greg Pettit is a multicultural artist, songwriter, composer, producer, and audio engineer that sprung and mutated between the borderlands of Tijuana B.C. Experiencing his entire life in Tijuana & crossing borders to nurture his education and life opportunities, Greg came in touch with music at a very young age. His dad being a bassist, singer, music lover & vinyl collector tied him to the love for rhythm, tone, energy & creativity. “Spliff.” came to make sense after a heavy separation from his family & another time frame where most of his close friends were at risk of self-destruction with illicit materials. He digged more into the love for music, the value that was being developed to heal, meditate, express & live. Vinyls and tapes got to him around the year 2017; the year his first Roland sampler was purchased. After that an MPC 2500 was acquired to combine his desired sounds, styles, sequences & limitations: inspired from known producers like “The Alchemist”, “9th Wonder” & “Jake One”. He has opened up for artist like “Eddy Mugre” from Colombia, as well as for “DJ Swet”, “N-Wise” & “La Dupla” from Spain. He’s been featured on Live AM Radio at “UABC Radio” with his SoundCloud single release of “Meditate Your Demons” as well as in “NETT NETT Radio” in 2020 for an hour mix of unreleased and released beats. His music makes you feel like a micro-dose of magic mushrooms & a mix of essence spliffs, from being aggressively inspired to it being a more relaxed, formal, self-meditating experience. It’s a mix of all the things and elements the city brings to the table. He continues to explore and expand his horizons with creative individuals and big inspirations. Enjoy what this multicultural mutation has to offer! Peace & Love! www.twitter.com/prodby_spliff
