We are proud to support a new site in Otjomuise- Orange Babies Namibia Foundation. We donated books for the classrooms but also a bookshelf and adult literature for the hard-working staff to enjoy. Maybe there’s a resource centre near you that would also appreciate reading material/magazines such as National Geographic and furniture you no longer want?

All children deserve quality books to read AND a great library to welcome them. Props to Hilma Weber - Publications for her splendid initiative - sharing her love of literature with young Namibian readers!

Included in some of the posts about Dolly Parton today are mentions of the work she did in using her fame and money to promote reading through Dolly Parton's Imagination Library.

Coming from an impoverished background, she understood the importance of access to children’s literature.
