SACOTT 2026 Concludes
The 2nd Southern African Conference on To***co Taxation (SACOTT) has successfully concluded in Windhoek, Namibia, following two days of meaningful dialogue, knowledge-sharing and collaboration on strengthening to***co taxation across Southern Africa.
Participants reaffirmed the importance of stronger to***co tax policies and continued regional collaboration to reduce to***co-related harm and support sustainable development.

The 2nd Southern African Conference on To***co Taxation (SACOTT), taking place at the Mövenpick Hotel in Windhoek, Namibia, brought together policymakers, researchers, civil society organisations, and regional stakeholders from across Southern Africa for insightful discussions on strengthening to***co taxation.
Under the theme “From Dependency to Domestic Resource Mobilization: Strengthening To***co Taxation for Sustainable Development in Southern Africa,” participants exchanged knowledge, shared experiences and explored practical strategies to strengthen to***co tax policies and public health outcomes.
The day was marked by engaging presentations, meaningful dialogue and a strong commitment to regional collaboration towards building healthier and more sustainable communities.
