JAMB INTRODUCES DIGITAL PRE-REGISTRATION APP FOR 2027 UTME:
The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has reportedly announced the introduction of a National Digital Pre-Registration App (NDPA) ahead of the 2027 UTME. This move is aimed at making the registration process faster, easier, and less prone to errors for all candidates.
With this new app, prospective candidates can now handle important preparatory activities from the comfort of their homes using their mobile phones. You will be able to research courses, check your eligibility, confirm subject combinations, and verify personal information before even stepping into a registration center.
The goal is to turn CBT centers into final verification points, significantly reducing the time you spend physically completing your registration. The app is designed to work on various mobile devices, even in situations where there is no *active data connection.
Please note that this digital platform does not replace official registration at accredited centers. Candidates are still required to visit an accredited CBT or Professional Registration Centre to complete their official registration and undergo final verification.
This initiative is part of the broader reforms under the leadership of the JAMB Registrar, Prof. Segun Aina, aimed at building trust and reducing the stress associated with the admission process.

π¨ BREAKING ADMISSION UPDATE!
π FEDERAL UNIVERSITY OYE-EKITI (FUOYE) RELEASES DEPARTMENTAL CUT-OFF MARKS FOR 2026/2027 ACADEMIC SESSION
The Federal University Oye-Ekiti (FUOYE) has released the departmental cut-off marks for the 2026/2027 academic session.
This is an important update for all FUOYE 2026/2027 UTME candidates and admission seekers, as the departmental cut-off marks indicate the required aggregate score for consideration across different programmes.
π What this means for you:
If you applied to FUOYE, you should check the cut-off mark for your chosen course and compare it with your calculated aggregate score.
β οΈ Important: Meeting a departmental cut-off mark does not automatically guarantee admission. Admission may still depend on the university's available spaces, candidate ranking, eligibility requirements and other admission considerations.
π’ FUOYE ASPIRANTS, THIS IS THE TIME TO PAY ATTENTION!

*JAMB RELEASES 2026 UTME RESULTS OF UNDERAGE CANDIDATES*
The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has released the 2026 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) results of underage candidates for viewing.
This is contained in a statement issued on Saturday in Abuja by JAMBβs Public Communication Adviser, Dr Fabian Benjamin.
β Benjamin, however, said that the release of the results did not confer eligibility for admission on all underage candidates, as only those who met its stringent requirements for exceptional consideration would be admitted.
He said an underage candidate for the 2026 admission exercise was any candidate who would be less than 16 years old as at Sept. 30, 2026.
He said the results were released primarily to enable candidates and their parents or guardians to know their performance in the examination.
According to him, such results cannot be used for admission or any other official purpose, except in respect of candidates who satisfy the requirements prescribed for exceptionally performing underage candidates.
He said candidates could check their results by sending βRESULTβ to 55019 or 66019 using the same SIM card with which they registered for the UTME.
Benjamin said the Board had earlier established that only exceptionally performing underage candidates who satisfied the prescribed conditions would be considered for admission.
The spokesperson said the exceptional admission process was deliberately rigorous and involved multiple stages of assessment to ensure that only candidates who demonstrated the required academic maturity and exceptional ability were considered.
He said one of the requirements for consideration was a minimum UTME score of 320, alongside a minimum of 80 per cent performance in relevant Senior Secondary School Certificate Examination (SSCE) subjects, where applicable.
